Archeoambulum Serpadendra
Description: A slender bodied worm-like creature with seven pairs of hydrostatic legs ending in two hooked claws and seven pairs of pointed spines along its back. A defined head with two to three pairs of tentacles containing light sensing organs. When threatened members will pull legs and head close to the body and angle their dorsal spines towards threats. While jawless members of the species possess a series of chambers esophageal passages each beginning and ending with a sphincter to move food through their digestive tract without exposing it fully to the void. Traveling in small packs across their groups will merge, intermingle and divide in the constant search for food and safety.

Habitat: Serpadendra roam the barren surfaces of asteroids consuming ice and whatever hardy lichen and smaller creatures they come across. Unintentional cannibalism of larva is common. In addition some Serpadendra have spread into the internal biome of traveling Archaeotitan's where they perform in a similar manner, move, eat, reproduce.

Reproduction: Members of Serpadendra engage in situational hermaphroditism slowly changing their production of gametes depending on the density of other members of the species they interact with. Males utilize a pair of their anterior tentacles for fertilization while the females develop their microlecithal (Small) eggs internally and incubate them as such giving a form of live birth to their larva. Females are also able to develop and have new eggs fertilized while incubation occurs.

Archaeotitan Thalassinus
Description: A peek species of megafauna in the void. Bands of hard lenses eyes give them a broad view of their surroundings with multiple fields of depth. Utilizing their ancestral chambered digestive tract they gather and store ice to produce a single or interlinked chambers of liquids, primarily water. While their diet consists of inorganic materials from asteroids and planetary rings they rely on a cultivated micro-biome of 'fungi' and bacteria within their liquid storing gut to break down these materials into more usable forms by the Thalassinus. Harder minerals are migrated and utilized in the creatures shell-plates. The majority of their limbs have become internalized, their hydrostatic tissues aiding in sealing gut chambers and moving materials between them. Two of the forward limb pairs have moved and hardened over to form 'jaws' capable of crushing and breaking off harder minerals. The three pairs of smaller tentacles have moved within the 'mouth' and serve to move food into the first 'airlock' chamber of their gut. Movement is achieved through 'squeezing and releasing' waste gases as they exit their gut at the posterior end. While this doesn't achieve great thrust it produces enough to move the giants towards their next meal as they rest.

Habitat: Thalassinus move through the planetary rings and clustered asteroids in small family pods.

Reproduction: Thalassinus like their cousins produce eggs and house them internally until they hatch. They may however only produce five or ten eggs at a time as compared to the smaller Serpadendra which produce dozens. These smaller numbers allow the young to emerge more developed and ready to begin after only a few months of clinging to their parents shell, during which time their parents feed them from their own storage gut spreading their gut-biome to their offspring.
